The Relic Buddies 1st Annual Relic Round Up & Fun Fest relic hunt

:hello:
I have to admit, this past weekends Buddies relic roundup was an event I didn't want to see end. We had an amazing time hunting with some of T-nets best detectorists. Thank you Doug AKA Modern Miner for everything you did. I know you put a lot of work into this buddy. It was a great time hunting with you all.
The large button shown below has me intrigued. With a back mark of Ultra Superfine and something else I cannot make out, has a design on the front. Can anyone make it out?

The last pic is my one year old learning early. :D

Awesome finds Mike. Man I wish I could have made it. Boy Sammie is growing like a weed. She will be out trying to out dig you before too long.

Sammy sure is growing!!! Won't be long before she will need one of your GPX 5000's. BTW, do you have to have a commercial license to swing one of those? :laughing9:

MM told me about that button Mike and I don't recall seeing one like it before. Dman and I wish we could have met you there at the "Jack Wagon" hunt. You made some good finds there and I know you had loads of fun. That little gal is a pistol for sure. I see you second guessed the tent camping situation. I camped a lot in my younger years (not with Jim Bridger MM & Dman). Now, my idea of roughing it is black and white TV-LOL. HH, Q.

Great treasures, especially those last two pics. She reminds me of my
9 yr old grand daughter when she was that age. :icon_sunny:
Thanks for sharing, Roger

Mikey,
I agree with Rob. If you don't stay at my house next time, at least bring an RV. Worst case though, if you do decide to camp again let us know ahead of time so we can at least build you a privy to do your "paperwork" in. :tongue3: :laughing9:
You three were like the folks on Little House on the Prairie. Tough, and I mean TOUGH!

The finds cleaned up nicely. Great looking flower button.
Did you ever get an ID on the button with the stone. That's an older turret style shank I believe. Any back mark? :icon_scratch:

At least Quindy finally admitted above that he's still watching B&W tv. :tongue3: He actually uses real rabbit ears on his tv too.

Good to see you again, and finally meet the family too.

Glad you got out with us again Mike and it was great to meet your wife and the little cutie pie... :D

The buttons look great cleaned up but the tiny one with the amethyst is definitely my favorite... :icon_thumright:

Folks, that monster Mike was swingin' is the real-deal! Floatin' the coil 5 inches above the ground and still pulling targets from the 9 inch range easy! PLUS, it's so powerful that you can heat up your coffee AND nuke a hot dog in about 7 swings...LOL :laughing9:

Looking forward to getting together real soon buddy... :icon_sunny:
