Return trip to new spot gives up my first SPANISH SILVER !!

This morning I hit my new spot with some results, 1839 LC and a SHIPS COLONIES & COMMERCE Token. This afternoon I decided to go back and search a little more. I am glad that I did !!! Screamer signal and only about 4" deep. I could right away see the date of 1776 and knew that I had my first Spanish Silver She is a little rough like maybe it has seen a fire Dont care.....I have freekin' SPANISH SILVER !!!

I have a G.W. button, two USA pewter buttons, 1812 belt plate, two state coppers, spanish silver, etc. Why cant I dig a KG :P He HAS been close for five years now. Very soon my friend he will be in my pouch.......

Is the only difference between the Spanish and Mexican coins the assayer's initials? Is one "better" than the other?
Now that I have found one of my own I guess that it is time to learn a little more about them.
