I had about an hour today to hit our little beach. 10 minutes into my hunt and I got a good signal. I found this U.S. Power Squadron button, but it looks brand new and was only about 2 inches deep in loose beach sand. I'm thinking someone had it on an article of clothing or in their pocket. There is still navy blue thread on it. The USPS (not the post office) is still around and I do live on a bay, near the ocean, so I'm thinking it is new. But still a cool find.
Thanks for looking and HH!!

Very cool looking button! 8)

I think it has some serious age to it . . . though I'm no button expert! ;D

I've been looking at it and it seems older, but must have been recently lost. I check this little beach, about 1/2 acre, several times at the close of each weekend. Hoping I find something good, I target were most people sunbath and that is where I found it. Plus it is very clean.
