This post is from the last 2 hunts the first place I hit was an old house (1890) or so. no silver other than the ring and lots of clad and wheat's. the 2 tokens are kinda cool the little one says wooden nickle and the big one says Phoenix Brewery buffalo NY. with a cool eagle on it.
The second place was the 1950s school where markg pulled that amassing connec. copper. in 5 min. I got the 1935 d half and a bunch of wheat's also a silver Rossy. not bad for a short 1 hour hunt.
Thanks for looking TnT H.H.

I found a Hopi Kachina ring exactly like yours in the 70s.....and I still have it. Walkers are fun to dig aren't they?

LOL, I would say that is pretty nice for a 'modern' park. I think I would be hitting that one hard with all the silver you two are pulling out of there !

The Hopi Indians are a southwestern tribe. They are noted for making (among other things I'm sure) the Kachina dolls. Do a search on the web and you'll find lots to learn about them....the Hopis and the Kachina dolls. I don't know all that much about the dolls....but then, what I don't know...fills libraries.

When I found mine in the late 70s, it was about 3 inches down, so I figure it was from somewhere in the neighborhood of the 1960s.

Oops.......That's a thunderbird....not a Kachina. I've taken a picture of the Kachina ring. They have to be made by the same company.

Wow! Congrats on the Walker! She's a beauty!
The brewery token is a great find.I'd like to see a larger shot of it.
Any idea of the history on it? Keep up the great digs out there. HH!

Thanks for the photo of the Phoenix Brewery token. It's in excellent condition.
The Phoenix Brewery was located in Pittsburgh,PA. Established in 1865.
It became part of the Pittsburgh Brewing Co. around 1899.
The Phoenix on the face is absolutely awesome. Great find!
HH!
