I will add a picture soon as I can. I was digging in a 1970's kid park and wandered just beyond the park. When I noticed I was behind a store so I stopped went in got permission to hunt there and within 3 digs I brought out this dime. I wasnt familiar with the date and when I returned home I was gonna throw it in with my other silver. I looked it up and saw there was only 24,000 minted. After seeing that it was time to lookup the price. Im still excited. :blob7: I do have a question it is a little tarnished so how do I get that off without damaging the coin? I just tried and theres no way to get a pic of the date with the tarnish.

I'd try peroxide, even though that it's used mainly for copper, shouldn't hurt it.
I stress "shouldn't"
If I'm incorrect, please let me know.
Don't use anything acidic, (vinegar, lime juice, etc.)
Or like the last post stated, just leave alone.
