wow today was ANOTHER kick butt field hunting day. I actually did two hunts. First hunt I went by myself and got everything here, then when my wife got off work she wanted to go to a field so I went out again! The second hunt was just as good as this one!

No pics yet from the second hunt, lets just say Mrs G4E got ANOTHER killer find!

Ok this 1st hunt I went to a field I have been to several times, this time I used my 6x8 coil and crept thru super slow and it paid off nicely!

My favorite find is the sterling pocket knife, look at how it was found and how I got it back into decently flat condition, I am well pleased.

I got 4 indians, a SMOOTH shield nickel, some really cool flat buttons, any idea on what these may be? I found a matching pair 50 feet apart.

Someone on this site found a knife just like that one last fall but I can't remember what they determined it to be. Good digs, Tom
