Still pulling plenty of change but also got a pleasant surprise. The weight is there, the 14kt is missing :(

Finding it in flawless condition, i thought for sure i found my first gold. I wont stop till i get it :)
It does say "stainless steal" made in china on the holder above the cross, but nothing on the cross itself.

The other interesting find has a lot of weight as well but missing some of the fake diamonds.

Does anybody know what the silver clumps are? I've been pulling a lot of it. Thx

Sorry the metals didn't turn out to be noble. Keep at it!

How do the Jones Beach beaches look post-Sandy?

No clue about the clumps. Sorry. Are they light or heavy? I find light ones sometimes that I think are really hard packed tin foil.

Keep at it and the goodies will come....thinking your blobs could be chunks of aluminum from meted soda or beer cans tossed in a beach fire.

Nice Finds! Could be zinc. I find a lot of it out there from ships and boats that burned and sank. Found coal out there last week.

The beaches have lost the dunes but other than that the fresh sand is very pleasant. The boardwalks need rebuilding in spots, so does the parkway joining the beaches.

The black and red sands Thomas Edison once set eyes on are back but slowly fading. He must have visited the beach after a similar storm.
