SNOW MELT AND I FOUND ??

.......Temp in the high 40's in my area.

Got out into the woods. Wet, snow is almost
all gone, lots of mud today.



Not much on finds; mess shotgun shells, spent
bullets, odds and ends.

Also this, at first thought it might be a ring, but
design goes all around(not flat on inside). Very small,
(penny for size), not sure what it is made of; Was
thinking some type of jewelry that was broken, but no
signs of missing parts. Any ideas?

Just for debate:

It also looks like a ring that is used to hold cable rigging together. It may have been used on a trap or a trout line. If it is a ring it must have been for a very small person. Would a small kid have been in an area like that? Did you find it under the water, on the bank, campsite or where? I don’t see any corrosion. It sort of looks like stainless.

It also looks like a ring that a person would ware.
