This'd do better in the What Is It area probably...but I really don't know. Also it'd help if there was a larger picture.

Too blurry to tell - try using your macro setting with backlight, just a suggestion ;D. Looks like a spur that used to attach to the side-heel of boots.

Dave, If It Is Made Of Iron, I Am Not Sure, The Closest Thing I Have Is A Suspension Hook For A Saber, Used When A Cavalry Troop Was Dismounted, And Didn't Want His Saber To Drag On The Ground. trk5capt...
