Me and the wife hit the beach today to look for shells and shark teeth and I found this piece of ivory tusk. It measures about 3" long so pretty cool find, oh I did some mding but beach was too crowded for fall bike week so didnt find anything :( but oh we'll enjoy

I have found lots of these when hunting for shark teeth and other fossils when I use to scuba dive, if you look closely its layered and this piece is the inside part of the tusk more like the core
