Got permission at two new locations, and while I didnt find a lot, both spots produced one neat item.

1st location found a celtic/Irish ring. Its marked 10K GF STERLING. My 1st ring with any gold at all. I'll take it lol. Its a tiny size 4 or 5. Also found a lone 1949 D wheat cent.

Second location was actually a finish up area. The weekend before I swept it some before cold ran me back inside. I found five 40's & 50's wheats.

This trip I got a 84 signal @ 9 inches..right above a big pile of dog crap lol. I remove that and then showed 8 inches using the AT Pro. Scored a nice 42 merc. Other finds there were just clad. Both locations were not that old..maybe 40's era.

Was running AT Pro in Pro zero mode..wide open with 25 disc.
Rings VDI was: 86
Merc VDI: 84

Nice plated Gold with Silver. Never found anything like that. I like the design. The Merc is awesome.

Yeah its neat..the center spins around the base. 1st ring I have found not marked 925..I have actually been lucky with rings..Including this one all have been silver..not one "junk" ring yet the past year.

Thanks for posting the IDs of your finds! I've been out twice now, once in my yard and once on the river. I tend to skip everything but the high beeps - then I saw on the banner a dude found gold and it was a 40? I have a lot of learning to do :)

Great finds!

Awesome ring! You might consider what targets you are passing by-- your detector obviously has no problem picking up silver, but if you're not finding gold or junk rings you might be skipping over those targets. Some gold sounds pretty much like trash. Are you digging pull tabs & bottle caps?
