Had a bit of luck today.
I decided to return home after work taking the road that the weekly market takes place every Monday. Almost everytime I do this, I find a coin or two, mainly cents, lost by the vendors and clients.
After the stands are packed up and the people have left, a municipality truck picks up all the rubish and tossed away rotting fruit and vegetables and hoses down the street. So most of the coins end up in the gutters along the street. That is where one has to look for "treasure"...
Today in a small mud puddle I saw this (Ialmost) round thing twinkling. Picked it up and it was this thin silver pendant (1,8 cm, 3/4 inch in diameter) with a cut-out byzantine double-headed eagle.
Better a little silver than none I guess ;-)
