I was able to positively identify and date one small piece of broken china

I always keep these little pieces that pop out when I am digging a target. when I got home I saw the hallmark on the back. did some research and found out it was only made from 1842 to 1860. I found an exact match online check it out.

Relic Lover, that is one fantastic piece of detective work! Was it difficult finding examples of old china patterns online?

I would love everyone to think that I am some research guru. but I literally just entered all the letters on the back of the shard and it popped up at the top of the list. along with a date range. I wish all my research went that easy.
