Found Today - Silver Ring & Some sore of medallion

Hi Everyone,

Well, it was a fun day today with great temperatures. Started off at the lake and then went to a historic place where cowboys rested their cattle before taking them to the stockyards back about a hundred years ago.

I found a bunch of loose change including 1958 D dime.

Then, there was this ring.




Not sure how old it is but Sterling is nice.

Also, found this thing. It's metal but not magnetic. I don't think it is gold since there is no mark on it.

I don't recognize the emblem if it is part of a fraternal organization or something.



Any thoughts on this one?

The reverse is just a pitted pattern. No words, shapes, etc. Just covered in tiny holes.
