This site keeps giving on every trip, its a small trail with 3 cellar holes. It was a bit overgrown so i followed some dried up creek beds that have a steady slope next to where a barn once stood. I did find some nice bottles on previous trips, many large cents and Indian heads. The 2 i dug this morning are 1865 and 1862. This place usually gives up some nice earlier dated cents. I took it real slow picking them out of the iron with the shooter coil. It produces much better after a nice hard rain. ... enjoy :headbang:

I second what BD said. Looks like a site with lots of possibilities especially with 4 home sites I think you said? Very nice IHs.

new to detecting i am in tacoma wa any tips or pointers
just to keep at it, know your machine and understand what it tells you, you will pick up plenty of info from other members posts. many people here explain in detail what signals they dig,
good luck and welcome.
