I found three of those last week and had no clue what they were so I pitched them out. Very nice find!!

Those jetons are actually categorized as counters and not coins. They're a very interesting find. My buddy found one here in Maine and found a 16th century hammered piece of silver which is pretty crazy for this area

yes that is what a jetton/jeton is, a counting token
