Got out today to a spot we never tried before with MarkG, TnT2000, JohnnyMc, My wife , and Me. There were some exciting finds. I'll let Mark and TnT post their finds and I'm sure you will be impressed when you see them. I already saw them come out of the ground and I can't wait to see them posted LOL. My wife's finds were A 1900 V-Nickel, and a 1936 Buffalo. My finds were 2 indians 1889 and 1904, A 1918 standing liberty quarter, 2 Mercs 1918 and 1920, 2 wheaties 1916 and 1941, A nice Infantry button that says "Extra Quality" on the back and a larger Button With an Eagle and a shield with 13 starsand says "Hortsmann Philadelphia" on the back, some old bottle stoppers, And 2 more unknown buttons 1 has a Pennsylvania emblem on the front but can't make out the writing, and a piece of lead that I don't know what it is. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for looking.
Ken And Linda

Great Going Ken!

The two buttons appear to be a General Officer's Button(larger one) and a Union Infantry "I" Button(smaller one). But I'm sure you already knew that. Both appear to be from the Civil War period.

Could we get a close up of the other 2 buttons in question?
