Me and my little boys day out (video)

Took my son out for his first ever metal detecting trip today, had a really nice time with him. Now all he is talking about is Treasure!!

VIDEO (bit boring until the end)

Didn't find very much apart from a nice .925 silver pocket watch part from 1879 (end of video with live dig)

I gave my grandsons a compass to hang around their neck to help find treasure. Yeah, great memories. One would get to dig while the other had the pinpointer and then they would switch.

Nice video. You may save yourself some time digging if you run your pinpointer over the target site before you start to dig. If the pinpointer sounds you know you have a shallower target and don't need to dig so deep.

I hope to get my son out with me at some point. He enjoys watching treasure
