Have no idea what it is. Can't make out any specific symbols or text from the photos. Really though, if I were marking a treasure repository I would not use paint which degrades in a matter of years, I would instead etch the marker into a solid stone outcropping. I also would not put a marker on a loose stone which someone might pick up and build a retaining wall or drive way out of. Again, only on a solid rock outcropping that could not be moved and that would not weather to the point of not being readable. I doubt it is a treasure marker.

Thnks guys my team might go down the cliff and search for some signs and clues. Im not an TH but im very curious to know and look for the cave. Because in 1 instance not far from this stone was discovered. My mom was planting some bananas in an area and while digging they encounter rectangular cement and they break it and continue digging until 5ft and they discovered spoons, cans, broken bottles, plates, marble, knife grinder.

And not far from those items discovered the saw boulders of rock just 30mtrs away and saw 3 drilled holes on a large boulder. They dug for almost 15ft and discovered and discovered boulders of rock that has porbable gold dust in it. They discovered almost 200kl of it.
When WW2 occured our area was used by japanese soldiers as an encampment base. Even farmers nearby encounter broken plates and bowls while plowing their farm.

With the white paint in the background and then the blue character it's obvious whoever made the sign their goal was to make it clearly visible. I guess the next question would be if it is the word for exit where was it placed? I hope this helps

Shame really, they needed the word 'Entrance'.

I was almost going to say as a joke "it means X marks the spot dig here!" but that would be pretty mean:laughing7:. I had a few of my Chinese friends look at the photo and they all agreed it looks like 出. If they are looking for the entrance rock it may have the character 入 or character combo 入口。
