Well with the nicer weather the yard sales are starting around here. Generally I find the sales to have nothing but junk, but I did manage to come up with some treasure this last Saturday. I got this weighted sterling brush for $3.00 and stripped & crushed it for the scrap, just now and I get 59.2 grams of good clean sterling out of it to add to the stash. I also found this little 4-7/8" (11.7cm ) long vise that said England on it. I gave $4.00 for it and I cleaned the crud out of the other word on it and its got a name of something? "Stubs" on it. It looks old and I really like it, plus it looks useful.

Great score on the Sterling Silver Brush and the Vise! It appears to be some type of hand held vise as I do not see a way to mount it, is that right!!??

Great yard sale finds.
I LOVE finding those gems at yard sales.

I bought a Hummel statue of the Virgin Mary for 3 bucks at a yard sale a few years back. It's worth about 1200.00
I gave it to my Mom 'cause she's a dyed in the wool Catholic.

The yard sale season hasn't started around here but I'll be hitting them really soon.

Congrats.
