Early season finds- Toasted LC & Silver

Rough winter for me and most of us here in Mass- first all the snow and then elbow surgery (non-swinging arm). Both are done and I'm finally healthy enough to swing the machine and be able to dig- been out 3 times, hitting some old favorite places.

Found a nice old toasted 1800 Draped Bust LC, and a few silver dimes. Also nabbed a couple of very badly corroded Indians and a '23 Buffalo. All in all, feels great to be able to hunt again.

Happy to see you out bud. Don't ya just love the old coppers with what I've termed coast disease. All of the coppers that I dig here on the Maine coast are destroyed. Always left wondering if it might be a rare one. Thank god they made silver coins as well. Good luck this season Jeff

I actually saw a mound of the dirty white stuff today, still melting away!
