Went back to the field this afternoon, feeling confident. The rain had cleared, and the sun was shinning. Spent around three hours plodding up and down, with little to show. Rather worryingly I had charged the coil up on the Deus. When I turned it on, it was only showing two bars. It quickly dropped to one bar, during the session. The signals also did not sound as sharp. Well the finds, a lead loom weight, a couple of copper coins. A cufflink, and a small lead thing (looks medieval) not a cloth seal though.

Robert.

Congrats on getting out and digging some targets. Not every hunt is a great hunt, that's how the hobby can humble us now and again.

Agree, we can enjoy the last hunts before the summer drought! Harvest will come and it's a whole new game!
