Couldn't wait to get back over there today. I didn't disappoint, to much.
Still haven't been able to find a old silver, but the coppers are coming out Excellent! Also, just noticed this cut coin. I thought it was just junk.
Glad I didn't throw it away. Its 1806 something? If anyone can ID it that would be cool. Enjoy the pics, if you can ID anything just Holler..
George

People must have been dropping these coins on the way home from the bank. That Large Cent is almost as nice as the half cent you found the other day. Glad you saved the cut coin. I can't help with the ID though. Keep the good finds coming. :occasion14:

Wow that LC looks great!

I'll take a guess on the cut coin. Maybe an 1806 George III British halfpenny? The date would fit, and it looks like there's an "O" around the 8 o'clock position on the side where the date is.

Great finds man! Obviously the LC and KG are sick. I thought that coin was bent and not cut. I wish I could ID it... I did switch some colors around and it looks like the head is facing left maybe... With some writing on the left side?

Nice coppers George. Too bad the 1806 George III was mutilated. Would have been a nice one for the collection. I have never seen one dug out on this end of the sate.

That is some heavenly soil! Those coins are just awesome, nice to see them in such great shape. Won't be long until you pull a crazy silver, or that chain cent you been looking for outta there!

I couldn't focus on work after I got those pics...almost said screw it and went digging haha, if it wasn't raining I think I would have.

Great KG2...with patina?!?! Lol. That ground, although not well packed, is KIND on coins! When we talked it sounded like a site that will slowly get chipped away.

The old silver is hiding, lurking, waiting for them greasy hands... Lol
