........also means posting clad when the silver is not found. The 7 wheaties are testament to how close it may have came though. I went to the area I had found the two quarters on Sunday and dug up a storm. Also came 2 canadian pennies with 50 dates and the dog tag. The wheaties had me motivated throughout the day, as I would find one every other 1/2 hour.

Nice finds. It makes you wonder how you don't find silver dimes when you find that many wheats. I went one evening last week and found seven coins and all of them were wheats. The dates ranged from 1916 to 1953. They were only 4" or less so there should have been at least a couple of silver dimes it seems. It's easy to tell you worked hard for that nice haul so hang in there. Seems like the silver comes when you least expect it to. Have a good one.

Nice diggins. I have yet to find any wheaties, much less silver. But seeing your wheats along with other folks keeps guys like me going.
Keep up the good work.

have faith.... it happens to all of us... I have been around some really old log cabins lately... and found zero old coins....... nothing old at all... all clad all the time...... found 11 Matchbox cars around old newer house from the 20's.... but both cabins were from the mid 1800's and I found nothing old .. not even wheaties...... went out 3 times round each one..... like the old adage my grandpa used to say(he detected over 25 years) the places you think there will be something.. there isn't.. and the places you overlook are the best places.....

Happy Hunting....

I hunt the parks, in the Bronx, Manhattan and Queens. That small haul was picked up in Manhattan. Same place I ran into two silver washington quarters in the same hole a day before that hunt.
