Hello everybody.
i turned back to where i found the coin silver from 200-100 BC. I promised to myself that i would go slowly. It was hard to take it easy. My nose became red and t-shirt wet. But i wouldn't come back home with empty pockets.
First i found a big piece of bronze and then another one smaller. I was praying to find other silver coins when a bronze one came out.
The soil was very hard to dig but i wouldn't give up.
Another one came out. It looked beautiful. A very beautiful portrait on it. I was amazed.
Here are the pics of them and other stuff.
Thank you for watching.
Metal detecting is great :).

Antigonus Gonatus, 277-234 BC, AE 18 mm. Helmeted head of Athena head right / B-A, Pan erecting trophy right, Q to right, ANT monogram below.

Ciao Vince,

Very nice finds, the Apollo is in very good shape. Did you do this in one day?

Looks like another banner.

Very nice coins.

The curved piece might be part of a Terret Ring.

Very nice coins.

No one of my friends thought about the terret ring!
I checked it on google and i think you are right Sir.
Most of them, that looks the same as mine, are from Iron Age, 200 BC! It makes sense . But i wonder why is it from bronze and not from iron then?
This one is interesting too. It might be the weight used for fishing. The only place they could fish is be the river that is close to the hill where i searched.

Just because it's called iron age it doesn't mean everything was made out of iron from that point on. Most terret rings are cast from bronze and they are often very decorated design you can only realize in a material easy to cast.

Thank you guys. When i first walked over the area i was not exited but after the coins the area gives me a mysterious feeling. It looks like I am the only one who knows the secrets of that place. I 've seen photos of other people there even in big groups posing near the place where i found the coins. It is funny :)
