Went out tonight for an hour to test out some new settings.

I found a 1939 quarter in the side of the hole. I would have missed it but I turned the sensitivity back up in my carrot, and Bam! I did not realize I turned it down.

Then I got a strange signal and found this copper piece. It is green beneath this gunk so it appears to be copper.

I would have tested it but I could only find one hammer.

Anyone have an idea on what this is?

Thanks and HH!

This was pulled from a site that is right next to a saltwater bay.

Every silver coin I have pulled from there is coated with a tarnish from hell.
