Hey guys! It's been a while... sorry bout that. Life got busy. I got a chance to get out on Friday for a couple hours to a field that has been very good to me. I saw that it had a fresh plow so I called up the land owner and got a quick permission. Third signal in was an 1851 (no mint) US $1 gold coin. That's a serious monkey off my back! I had an agreement with the land owner and he was gracious enough to let me keep it as a way of saying thanks for me handing over tons of other coins and heirlooms to him in the past. I think most anything found from the 1600s should be banner too but because we don't all have access to these items they never get enough attention but as you can see from my finds I guess Im bias
