Time is slipping for 2017, so I brought home what I could.

This is from a 6hr tour, I was flying on coffee, I thought Iโ€™d do a little better. No silver but I did manage another minie ball, Model A 1911 Boy Scout pin, small round ball, modern bullet and a flat button. Glad to have it. IMG_1988.JPG IMG_1991.JPG Example IMG_1989.JPG

One more three ringer for that, long awaited, year end shot.

Only a couple of days left.

Well done.

Well done, that BSA pin is the find of the day.
Congratulations

I thought it was just a modern fleur-de-lis pin. Not until I got home is when I noticed the eagle and badge and the writing in the back. I love when that happens.

Another interesting fact associated with your 1911 pin.

In 1911, the Boy Scout organization issued its first โ€œHandbook for Boys,โ€ a publication that has been updated yearly ever since.

A first copy pictured above sells for $1250 at Blibio HERE

There were only 28,000 copies printed.

Looks like you found a true treasure.

Congratulations
