Well I had a couple of hours free this afternoon so headed down to the local freshwater beach along the Columbia river.

Was getting lots of the usual bottle caps, pull tabs, nails and slag. Was getting very frustrated and decided to change from hunting north/south to east/west. Didn't take 5 steps and got a reasonably decent tone so dug it and up came this 14K white gold ring, with a small chain attached.

5th gold ring of the year and 2nd in less than a week:).

Of course the rest of the hunt was more bottle caps, slag, a quarter and 2 cents.

yup, the ring has an inscription. Am heading out for a few days to join my brother for some hunting then when I get back will post it in the lost and found of the local paper.
