A great half dime, and a not-so-great Mass. Copper and Fugio (I think)

This weekend I started searching an inactive farm field that borders an old homestead. Since the field is about 20 acres, I focused on an area that used to have an entry road per a 1960 aerial, hoping to improve my odds. On Friday, I first found several fairly modern horseshoes that rang up as coins. They must have given me luck, as I next found this beautiful half dime, my first. I was hoping for capped bust, but was thrilled with my first seated coin in almost a year. I next found a nice flat button, which is sort of blackish-grey with no corrosion or lettering; maybe a Tombac? Things quieted down, then I hit the buckle. I am not familiar with this style, so would appreciate any comments on possible age and purpose. Time was running short when I got a nice coin signal, which I later determined was a pitted Mass Copper. On the reverse, if you look carefully you can see part of the eagle, shield, arrows, leaves, and some of its wings. I can only see the Indian's bow on the front, so I did not attach a photo. This coin is high on my bucket list, so I wish it was in better shape. On the way back to the car, I dug a couple more buttons, including the metal holed button with the word Hildreth on the back; not sure how old. On Saturday, I had a lot less hits. However, I dug one large copper. When attempting to clean at home, I almost gave up on identifying it when I saw some rings in a circle. I am thinking a Fugio Cent, but perhaps I am imagining it. The other side has no detail whatsoever. Today, I got another large copper, but I think it is slick, a horseshoe, and a plated fork (not pictured).

What a great winter for digging, and now spring is finally here. I just wish this virus situation would go away. Good luck out there, and stay safe.

Great spot. Farm fields unfortunately wreak havoc on copper coins. Still, you found two great ones!

Sure looks like a Fugio, the circle of rings is pretty clear in your image. And a Mass cent, plus Seated, three bucket listers for anyone in the game. Congratulations!

Congrats on the Mass and Fugio! Very cool old coppers in any condition, but love how the silver coins pop out without any major corrosion. Congrats!!
