Beautiful. First emerald I've seen on here. Maybe the stone came from the Spanish emerald mines in Colombia years ago. Gary

Not to ve the bearer of bad news... and what I am about to say is definitely my opinion.

BUT... just so you know... I am basing my opinion on a lifetime.

Ok... now that is out there I will say with hesitation... cuz I don't like hurting feelings... :)

Its glass.

I base this because of several "red flags"...

1. Too even green color
2. Setting is wrong for real stone for a stone of that "caliber".
3. Sterling composition... not that it has not been done... but for stone like that is trying to be... would be.
4. Style.
5....

Seen these before :)

Nice little ring! I too am skeptical about the stone being an emerald. Although many silver rings have been made with valuable stones, that would be a large valuable stone in a much much less expensive ring base. I could be wrong, but keep us posted.

Sweet looking Cut. I agree, although I have seen diamonds set in Silver, it is rare. An Emerald would be a sweet find but not a common setting.
Congratulations

Yes, what they all said. That being said, it is a nice looking little ring.

I agree with AARC, unlikely to find a quality emerald in a sterling setting. Take it to a jeweler or gemologist to get it checked out. Nice little ring, but I think it is not emerald.

Yeah I knew it was glass just thought emerald would get a few more views. I found this at the same park two days earlier I believe the stone is legit 5 grams 10k. I didn’t post because I didn’t get any pictures getting it out of the plug I just jumped on it.

“Yeah I knew it was glass just thought emerald would get a few more views.”

Not sure what to think about that statement.
I will bite my tongue, block OP, and take a chill pill.
