Ooh nice conestoga! I've dug quite a few crotal bells but a conestoga is still on my bucket list!

Awesome relics, thanks for posting.

Question: What kind of a VDI or signal did you get when you swung over the skeleton key?

Skeleton keys are one of my most favorite things to find. Yours has such a nice patina. I'd be very happy with that collection of " keeper" relics. I've yet to find an intact crotal bell. Looking forward to crossing that one off my bucket list some day. Thanks for sharing.

Great hunt and great relics Scolino. Every item is awesome, but my favorites are the key and the conestoga bell.
Congrats!

Those are some great relics Scolino. Did you happen to check your lock for any lettering ? I have found 2 Padlocks that look exactly like yours. One was from the C & M Railroad, and the other was a Corbin Cabinet Company lock. The Corbin Co. was formed in 1882. I would have to say that out of all of your finds, I do like that Padlock the best.

That key is awesome!! Thats a load of good stuff!! What does that “connestoga” bell seem to be made of? I found one that must have been 10” across but was broken into about 15 pieces. It seemed to be almost like tombac metal.

The Conestoga bell is made of Tomback.
