Introduced my brother-n-law to detecting. Armed with my BH202, him with my 101, we hit a pasture. with permission of course. It is in the area of an old wagon train trail. After a couple hours cooking in the sun, digging nails, we call it a day.
on the way home we decide to hit a kiddie playground for some redemption. we found pocketfull of change, when i said,"i wish we would find some jewelry". about 2 seconds later he said, "mike, check this out". what i said ain't fit for this forum.
attached is what he found. anyone know much about the value of Italian 14k gold?

14K is 14K, right now you should get about $14-$17 a gram for it.
