4 Gold rings in one hunt ~

I am on a little road trip . Went to a lake I have had good luck at. My first half day I found several wheat's A silver ring which I broke Also found 3 marbles and a Yogi bear ring . does any body have any info on this ring? My second day I hit 4 gold rings woohoo! 1 18k 7grams/2 14k 6.8 &3 grams and then A nice jade ring not marked but my guess would be 14k 7.4 grams total weight 24.3 grams also found 2 more silver rings and a Merck dime which is # 71 for this year going to another lake today :icon_pi rat: HH Ron

WOW! Great finds!

What is the bottom of the lake like? Is it sandy, or muddy gunk? Reason I ask is that I am going to hunt a nearby lake soon, and I have no idea what to expect as far as the floor under the water that I'll be walking on and digging into.

the lake vairies from deep mud to hard pack .Were I am hunting the wind will blow hard at times and move the sand around I look for the small rocks and hunt in the hard pan but will go in the mud also the big white gold ring was the deepest maybe 10 in all the rest were not that deep. dig everything the deepest ring dig not sound good until the second scoop HH RonC

Man if I had a day with 4 gold my wife would have to bring my dinner to the lake. I wouldn't want to leave til I was sure I had it all. Congrats
