Dealing with the heat is bad enough, add mosquitoes to the mix and it makes for a miserable time. Wanted to do some detecting for a little while after work, but I didn't last long. I didn't have any repellant, so the bugs won. Maybe tomorrow.

I feel your misery. I detected at the beach this afternoon for a couple hours, and I can tell you I didn't dig any 800 targets. Retreated under the umbrella for a cold one. At least there weren't mosquitoes.

I feel your pain..I'm in Pennsylvania, and with all the rain we've been having, the mosquitoes are horrible. You can walk across the lawn and actually see a cloud of them come up. Can't detect without bug spray or else you're gonna need a blood transfusion when you're done. Waiting for the cooler weather to knock them down. Good luck out there!
