Idaho should be giving you some info, soon as he spots this post.
Me, I know Colorado stuff, and I'm still learning at that.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

It's similar, but not identical, to this one from Ft. Worth:
POST OFFICE SALOON (incuse) / GOOD FOR / 5 / CTS / IN TRADE. (TC-17110) Fort Worth, Texas (Tarrant), U.S.A.

This one is going to take some more research than I can do right now, but the 1907 Ft. Worth city directory shows:
    Postoffice Saloon - O'Reilly & Milton - 708 Houston
Charles A. Wood - Pullman Bar - 1610 Main and Touraline Bar - Basement Touraline Hotel

So far, this doesn't prove anything.

Okay as was posted in the Today's Finds forum, the 1901 Ft. Worth City Directory has Charles A. Wood - Post Office Saloon - 708 Houston.

Would you be willing to post (or permit me to) your pics on TokenCatalog.com

Would like permission to use your image on the TokenCatalog site. This is the only occurrence of the obverse die, GOOD FOR / 1 / DRINK, I have seen.
I assume the reverse is blank, as opposed to having a maker's mark of some type.

    Thanks - Richard, TokenCatalog.com

    hello Woody G
I am the guy who "found" the post office saloon (with no initials) from Fort Worth....mine was not dug, but since I was born & raised in cowtown, my great aunt, gave me the token when I started collecting tokens in the 1970s. she got it from her father who was raised in Ft. Worth and likely he was the one who went to the post office saloon and got the token originally. they are both buried in F.W.
mine has been cleaned due to severe verdigris, it is uniface , no lettering on reverse, only border.
