and all detectorists should be Carrying.

Especially when you got customers who loose stuff regularly :laughing7:

during one of the last 2 Times I was out , I misplaced My one Digger somewhere :(

retracing steps at this point doesn't seem worthwhile.

Wilcox 13" All-Pro weeder.

These things are indestructible if you don't loose them .
I had my original for well over 20 Years.
bought it from a Whites Dealer at the Bloomsburg Fair.
I hope it doesn't get hit by a lawnmower . :(
Since I had to buy a New one, I ordered one for my nephew right away

they will go through most hard ground and clay very easily and are great for prying rocks.

And the 1" wide blade is also great for Slicing through 3/4" thick roots

I ordered mine straight from Wilcox.

I bet dealers can order them if you ask.

I don't think I can name them because they are not a supporting dealer, but I have posted on a dealer's page some and I think they are around $15 or less. I would like to find the Wilcox digger that looks like a bent wood chisel. The blade is 90 degrees off the handle. I don't think they still make or carry them and they seemed to be a bit expensive compared to the typical Wilcox trowel.

Jeff I have to agree . Wilcox digging tools are great . I own several of them. The one I like the best is the model 101.

I don't know if I am allowed to post a company's name on here but A.M. Leonard carries several sizes of the Wilcox digging tool. Been using them for years both gardening and detecting. Best hand trowels ever made.
