98% Of all Lawyers are parasites sucking life out the USA. They are the reason health care is so expensive! We don't need Obama care we need to put a cap on these frivolous medical lawsuits. They have driven liability insurance through the roof so Doctors have to charge more and more and run unnecessary test to cover their azzes that you and I have to pay for.

(The Godfather, Don Corleone (in the novel not the movie), observed that “a lawyer with his brief case can steal more than a hundred men with guns).. And now these are the people that run our government.

You know I don't ever remember voting on that rule Oh that's right! The all high and mighty didn't give the American citizens that option did they..

Lawyers are a treasure hunter's friend.

Mel Fisher would've lost the Atocha treasure absent the hard work of his.

Don't conflate "lawyers" with the governments that would cheerfully use the law steal your finds.

Nonsense, lawyers were a necessary evil to fight those who would take what was rightfully his. Mel didn't hire a lawyer because the lawyer was his friend. He hired him because the government, their lawyers, and the laws in general made it necessary. Mel would have been quite happy to have announced his find, put some of the treasure in a museum, sold off some of it, and enjoy the fruits of his labor, but, no, the legal thieves had to try and get their share even though they had no part in it's discovery or recovery.
