Although I Never actually Asked her to show me the Mark.

Years ago the Neighbor Lady told me they Marked her place.

If Memory serves, I believe she said
they asked if they could Leave a sign.

Like me, She was never the Type to
Turn anyone Walking & in Need away.

I Never Had Hobo's stop though.
Before my time.

But wonder IF My Place was marked somehow :tongue3:
it seemed 9 out of every 10 Persons in Need, to walk into town
would Knock at my door.
Didn't matter if it was in The Morning, afternoon,
Or middle of the night, something Told people
I would answer :dontknow:

The Invention of cell Phones has ended it though

Could be Jeff. Now that I know about these I am going to keep an eye out for them.

Yea After Thinking about This overnight, I Believe I'm Mixing
Hobos with Gypsies, In the story My Neighbor told me.

I Believe Hobos stayed More Closer to the Rail Lines,
While Gypsies Traveled Horse & Buggy.

Still I wonder if either Hid Money for others
along their Routes But Think that would be rare,
As most of them seemed to always be in need.
Especially Hobos

For all you folks who would like to know more about HOBO signs.

Go to 'Google' and type in "Hobo Signs and Symbols", open it, then click on the images logo and be prepared to spend some time on the site. The laundry list of sites is extensive. On "worldpath.net" you can order a book about hobo signs. I don't have any idea how extensive the book is, but it is available.

Keep in mind that hobo signs are not, and were not, universal, they were most often regional, and only a few were national.

By the way, I believe google is a contraction of, go ogle.
