Unfortunately We almost have to watch it, just in case
certain things are brought up from land owners, like
"What's my Cut ?" or "You arn't going to be doing any digging here !!!! "
imagine asking permission to search a yard,
from someone who saw them tear into the ground with Picks


First problem I saw.

The Main Character

second He said he splits with the landowner, then Haggles
them down to 30% ? Split means 50/50.

Say you agree to split.
then you give the landowner 35 Cents.
Is the Landowner going to believe you just tried to
rip them off, because they saw you dig a rusty pick head
they think is worth a few hundred ?




third The prices they get. again
most of the cash they made was for
mentioning the antique shop.
the trap was the only thing of real value,
and the pan sentimental value

guys i beg 2 differ alittle, would u reather watch some stupida$! drama crap like hoarders (ppl that like 2 collect tons of stuff with no room 2 put it) or atleast somethg that has 2 do with metal detecting now i agree that the wrestler dude acted alittle over dramatic, i will give ya that...n only 30mins that sux 2, but overall im ready for next weeks episode. kgunn

quit watching scripted overdramatic shows like this and go detecting! Someone at work today asked if I have seen this show and if all detectorists are like that guy... that dude is a joke. If you are in the hobby to make money you are in it for the wrong reasons.

What's sad is that these shows act like they need to recruit people and bring it to the world's attention or the hobby will die. Quite the opposite. The people who make those shows really have to HATE the hobby.
