Back in the 70's, when this great show was simple and educational, great to watch as a kid living in Omaha at the time I can't rememer the host's name right off the top of my head? Anyone remember?

Just found his name, Marlin Perkins, he passed away in 1986

I remember it. I used to watch it every Sunday night with my Grandma at her house. It was a very nice show.

I Loved that show "I'll keep the helicopter warm while Jim wrestles the alligator"

Yes, this show brings back alot of memories of times when I was at home with my parents and bro and sis, happy days of the 70's, when life seemed simpler and television was more innocent. My, how times have changed.

Yes, the good ole days of having only 5 or 6 channels to choose from, quality programming for the most part. You had to get up to change the channel. Now we have a hundred channels to choose from with, still, only 5 or 6 worth watching
