Hey Traveler...I was wondering why you upgraded from your idx pro what did you not like about it if anything I just bought an idx pro a month ago. I had a hard time justifying the difference in cost. But I got a good deal on the idx pro.....

Marc,
I have owned eight, the three that has worked well for me is the Fisher, the Whites and the Tesoro. I am now looking at the ML3000 or 3500. I hear the 3000 is going to be discontinued or I guess upgraded to the 3500. Maybe you could shed some light on that. Those three work well for what I call light detectors, but I need a little more bite for my buck.

New to this forum and really enjoy it. Got a Bounty hunter 2 as a gift & That's what got me started then a Whites goldmaster and finally a Minelab GP3000 with 3 different coils. The Minelab is a killer with gold & depth so far has been 10" to 12". The last nugget I found was under an 8" thick rock and I still had to dig another 4" to retrieve it after removing the scorpian that was under the rock. Keep on beepin 8) Frosty

Used to own a Fishers CZ-20. Great water detector and easy to use, but a bit heavy.

I now own a White's Spectrum XLT E-series. A great detector with lots of adjustability. Lightweight and very accurate.
