I have had this spoon for quite sometime and never really looked into it. It was gifted to me when my ex wife and I had our first child. As you can see in the pics there is something engraved on the back of the handle but I can’t completely make it out. Looks like something over the top of “of B A” with maker marks of 3 P stamps. Anyone have any clues or info on the piece?

Anyone have any thoughts as to what the writing on the back of the spoon handle reads. I can’t make it out and this would certainly help with research on where it came from

I don't have a clue. Try posting in the Garage Sale/Thrift Store forums. There are some serious silverhounds there. Too, consider posting pic(s) with a close-up of all three stamps and the front. And finally, include something in your photos for scale. Your title indicates "large" but it doesn't look large against a plain background.

Hope this helps. Good Luck

Thanks! All 3 makers marks are the same as in pic #2, that’s the only reason I didn’t take a pic of the individually. A close up of the front or as best I could get anyway is in pic #4. The spoon is approximately 6 inches long. Thanks for your input!
