    1926 C H A PINBACK HELP

    Hello,
Does anyone know anything about this pin? Looks to be from '26. It has what appears to be a 1920s flapper on the front with C H A around it.
It came from my wife's departed grandmother. Any info would be appreciated

Sure looks like an academy school pin of this style. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Baptist-Semi...item53da2cc951

What city was she from? Can we see the back?

I live in a state of rules where I am not permitted to live on my own country land because my home is not 130 MPH rated! I can only visit it from time to time and pay the fines.  I feel so safe with Big Government protecting me. In some states its illegal to collect rainwater.

    Re: 1926 C H A PINBACK HELP

Thank you for the fast reply. I should have mentioned she was born in 1915. She would have been 11 in '26. She grew up in Dakota City, Nebraska. She talked quite a bit about Sioux City, Iowa. It looks close to Dakota City on the map. I cannot remember if she went to school in Sioux City.
The camera is charging. I don't remember seeing anything on the back, but I will post a pic of it tomorrow night.
    Thanks again for the help!

Women who owned these pins in the very early 20's (FLAPPERS) were experienced CHA-CHA Dancers......Thus members of the CHA Club.

    The cha-cha-cha wasn't around until the 1950's.

Her age doesn't really add much. Could be a present from her Great grandmother or another friend / relative. Haven't got my frat pin info with me on this machine. I'll try looking it up for you when I get back. You can start by looking at what universitys colleges etc are in the area she grew up in. THen Google them up adding fraternity in your search. If I don't get back to you by Sat. drop me a PM.
I know it's here, just need a bigger coil!
