Old button - need a date......

Found this old POD button. My post offive buddy who found some says it is a Post Office Department button. I agree as it looks like a letter carrier on the front. I was hoping someone could date it. My camera battery was going dead so I only could get one quick shot. The back mark says -
    FECHHEIMER & BROS. CINCINNATI O.

Just a friendly heads-up, to point folks to a source of much more-detailed button backmark dating information. It is the book titled "American Military Button Makers And Dealers; Their Backmarks & Dates" by William F. mcGuinn and Bruce S. Bazelon. It is available on Ebay from various sellers at $20-$25.

That book says the Fecheimer Bros. & Co. backmark continued to be used on buttons "into the 20th century." That statement from the book is definitely ccorrect, because an example is a Virginia State Seal button shown in the Albert button-book as button #VA-28, which is an early-20th-century button.
