First I apologize for not having any pictures...my camera no longer communicates with my computer. Can anyone identify a button I found based on description?
It's just a little smaller than a nickel and has "P&B" in the centre, "PATRIOTISM" around the top edge and "HONESTY" around the bottom edge. It's probably an overalls button or something like that but Google has been no help. Thanks all!

That's a great lead...I checked the presidents that started with P and of course found Polk and Pierce but their VPs did not start with B...never even thought of other candidates...

Tough one. I would expect an old one piece button to have old Serif lettering (shown in red). The lettering font appears to be early 20th century. Attachment 628817

This one is stumping the experts...I sent the pics to Mark Parker and he cannot identify it either. He provided me with the email address of an expert on political buttons so I am waiting to hear his opinion. I'm probably barking up the wrong tree thinking it's political but the wording fits...

Hi - thanks for the shout out! I missed the poke though
I can't find it either. I was thinking that it could be more local to your area. And we need to research Canadian sources not US. I came across a wild goose chase where in the 1880s two attorneys in Saint John, NB got together to write the Law Reports. Those reports are still referred to as the "P&B" for Pugsley & Burbidge's Reports. I've ended up deciding it is most probably not that though and am moving on to other ideas
I sent a picture to Ted Hake, an authority on political buttons and he stated that it could be Palmer and Buckner but that he doesn't recognize it. I also heard from Ronald Wade and he doesn't think it's political and may be patriotic advertising for a private company. I don't think that this button is unique and that there is someone out there who can tell me exactly what it is representing...
