    anyone please help identify

    Ok so found this old looking squared medallion.... well would like to know if it is a medallion and how old it might be.. it has a astrological chart?? That I looked up and seems to be old?? Also has what seems to be hieroglyphics?? Lol sounds foolish I know but need help....

    on the side with the astrological signs, the upright triangle is "fire" and the female symbol with horns is "mercury".
    "Aurum" latin = gold
    the rest of the items on the other side are varied symbols i would need a clearer picture to identify them.

    also, you may find some reference material that may help searching things such as:
    "symbols of solomon"
    "enochian symbols"
    "necronomic symbols"
    or seeing if your local library has a book called "the three books of occult philosophy"

    either way ... VERY interesting piece.
