    here's a couple for ya

We found these in an old picnic grove. I thought at first the long object was a hose attachment, but it's solid there's no way for water to get through it. So any idea would be great...

The second one looks like some kind of bit or something at first I thought it was a monopoly piece but it's definitely not there is a small letter "G" on the one end I hope your able to see it. I don't see a lot of wear marks on it so I'm confused.

So thanks in advance for any help provided

    Enjoy

point looks like a tip they screw onto an iron fence or gate. Other thing looks like some sort of mechanical cog lever, maybe from a lawn sprinkler. Thats my thoughts

Take that back, did not see the dime as a size referance. I believe the point is an archery field tip. they usually screw into the shaft and look very similiar

wait a minute. That would be one hell of an arrow. Man, my sizes are all screwed up. Maybe a spear tip, like for picking up trash or something

It looks as though the second item has a left handed thread....usually reserved for parts that attatch to something that spins in a clockwise direction

Maybe the pointy thing is from the leg of a transit/tripod (those things that surveyors use) ?

I think the pointy piece with the screw end is part of a two-piece spark plug. Ford Model A's used two piece plugs as original equipment.

I have no clue on the other thing...

That part in your first pictures, 3searching, looks like something from the inside of an old sewing machine. Sort of a balance weight, and the shaft part maybe from one also. (blind guesses).

I could be mistaken , but that looks like a left handed thread. Left handed threads are usually reserved for, but not exclusive to, spindles that rotate clockwise, so that they don't unscrew while running.

My guess would be parts from a reel to reel tape machine, vcr, phonograph, or something like that.

As GrantWA said spindle from a peddle. Left handed thread also reinforces this theory.
On a bicycle one peddle is left handed the other right.

That long item reminds me of a stub axle. That would also account for the left hand thread. It appears to have a circlip groove at the thin end. Given its size, maybe off a pram/pushchair/baby buggy or lawnmower?
The other item, I'm sure I've seen on this Forum before.
    Cheers, Mike
