    ID Help

Got to use my new Equinox 800 for the first time this afternoon and found a few goodies at my old sharecropper site. First item I found was a button(maybe) with SR on it. Probably some sort of overall button but want to see other opinions. It's about the size of a dime. Thanks in advance.

It is what I thought, circa 1894.

Here is a little interesting history: http://www.srha.net/public/history/history.htm
