Hello folks, I have missed ya値l!

Due to numerous cataract surgeries I have not been out detecting so hoping someone can help me here. We got a box of relics from a guy that lives in Massachusetts. Some of the stuff he sends I personally would not give away as far as the buttons go. It痴 fun for me just to do the research on them. My husband will put together his own boxes of various relics to sell on Etsy with stuff he buys from various people and has done pretty well at selling smalls. This ring looks old to me and where it broke on the band it looks very shiny like copper or brass. It almost looks like three stones were there at one time. The ring is fairly heavy and does not seem like a toy ring at all.

I would say that the ring is no newer than 1930, had three stones, and was gold plated/filled at one time. And it was NOT a toy!!

Based on the design, this ring appears to be mid-19thc or a bit later to me.
Here's a similar ring I found at an old homestead site in 2018, I think mine dates more to the early 1900s though.

Nice to see you back posting CoilyGirl.
